The staff at the hostel were very friendly and spoke English well, making communication easy. the courtyard setting was beautiful and added to the overall ambiance. the location in a nice hutong was convenient for exploring Beijing. the hostel offered tours that could be booked directly, making sightseeing hassle-free. the air conditioning worked well and was especially appreciated during the summer months. the small cafe/bar/restaurant on the premises served good food and stayed open late, providing a convenient dining option.

Certainly the best budget/location mix in Beijing. Alice, Anita, Eleen and Sally (reception staff) are amazingly nice: they are going to help you for anything you would need. Good restaurant int the courtyard, dorms with individual lamp, curtains, what ask for more?

All was great! Just unluckly my room's air condtioner worked. So Crew got us a Heater than. All good.

We had a wonderful romantic escape at this hostel. The private room was cozy and clean, perfect for a couple. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the city center and close to public transportation. We loved that there was a bar with a terrace, where we could relax and enjoy cheap draft beer.

We did encounter a few minor issues during our stay. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner and one of the doors in the dorm room didn't close properly, allowing mosquitos to enter.

The location of the hostel is convenient, with the metro and major sights only a few stops away. There are also good food places nearby. The hostel offers clean and well-maintained rooms, with modern facilities such as curtains, power sockets, and reading lights. The staff are friendly and helpful, even providing free dumpling-making lessons. The tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyu is highly recommended.

The wi-fi connection in the hostel is poor.

It's close to subway and they offer Great Wall tours.

The bathroom need an reconstruction urgently (the shower doesn't work properly, spending more water on the tube than up in the shower it-self).

The staff are fantastic. The hostel layout is lovely. The rooms are neat and tidy.

The room at Happy Dragon Courtyard Hostel was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved the vibrant decorations and the soft, plush bed. It was the perfect place for a beach lover like me to relax after a day of exploring.

The only thing I didn't quite love was the bathroom with showers. It was a bit small for my liking, but hey, different strokes for different folks!

Friendly staff, always there to help out, good location, nice bar/cafe with good food, laundry service, lots of other people youll meet!

staff is very helpful & friendly with fluent English. walking distance to subway is short, easy access to the rest of the city by subway.

the room is a bit cold, not sure if the heater inside is working well. Apart from that, all is fine with us.

Cool hostel, authentic feeling courtyard buidling in a residential neighborhood. About 5 min walking from the subway station. On-site bar and snacks.

The staff at the hostel are both incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel also has tours available for the great wall or acrobatics shows which are very useful. Highly recommended.

I always come back to the place where they fixed my computer at my first stay. It's perfect for me, with Free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. Great for my business trips.
